Pat Narduzzi is the defensive coordinator for the Michigan State Spartans. Under Narduzzi’s tutelage, the 2007 Michigan State Spartan football team began on a path of improvement.

In 2007, the Michigan State Spartan defense produced 40 sacks, over 20 more than the 2006 season, ranking fourth in the Big Ten. Additionally, the Michigan State Spartans finished third in their conference in tackles for loss with 7.69 per game.

Prior to working with Michigan State University, Pat Narduzzi served as Mark Dantonio’s offensive coordinator with the Cincinnati Bearcats as well. The defensive unit Pat Narduzzi developed there remains solidly amongst the leaders in their division.

Pat Narduzzi is native of Youngstown, Ohio, where he earned all-state football honors at Ursuline High School before moving onto Youngstown State, then transferring to Rhode Island and eventually playing for the Rams in their starting linebacker position from 1987-89.
