Born May 28, 1989, Mark Dell is the starting split end for the Michigan State Spartans. He graduated from Harrison High School in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
Mark Dell accounted for 113 yards as a receiver in the 2007 Michigan High School Football Coaches Association All-Star Game, and was ranked by ESPN.com among the country’s top players as well as by Rivals.com, Scout.com, SuperPrep and Tom Lemming’s Prep Football Report. As a senior, two-year starter Mark Dell accumulated 1,491 yards and 20 touchdowns.
Michigan State Spartans 2007 football season saw Mark Dell appear in all 13 games as a true freshman, finishing fifth on the team with 20 receptions for 220 yards and two touchdowns. The 2008 season gave Mark Dell 11 game appearances with eight starts, ranking first on the team with 15 receptions for 20+ yards. His 202 receiving yards versus the California Golden Bears is the fifth best single-game total in Michigan State Spartan history, and the 18th higest total in the NCAA Bowl Subdivision for 2008.
