Keith Nichol transferred from the Oklahoma Sooners to become a Michigan State Spartan in 2008. Born December 24, 1988, Keith Nichol graduated from Lowell High School in Lowell, Michigan.
Considered a dual threat quarterback, Scout.com rated Keith Nichol among the nation’s top quarterbacks and was also a three-time all-state selection in high school. Keith Nichol started in the position for three years, compiling a 33-3 record and 9,650 yards with 134 touchdowns.
Keith Nichol appeared in three games as a true freshman while playing for the Oklahoma Sooners, and sat out the 2008 campaign after transferring. He was presented Michigan State University’s Jim Adams (Unsung Hero) Award and two Scout Team Player of the Week honors.
