Spartan Stadium, home of the Michigan State Spartans football team is located at Red Cedar Road and Shaw Lane in East Lansing, Michigan. Built in 1923 Spartan Stadium is one of the oldest college football stadiums in the country. Various Uses for Spartan Stadium 

Along with hosting all of the Michigan State Spartan home football games, Spartan Stadium holds the world record for the largest ice hockey crowd in history. The game was the season opener against Michigan. Spartan Stadium is also used as a large scale concert venue. In 1994 the Rolling Stones came on their Voodoo tour.
